Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses

Bus number 306 from Xian main railway station. I knew I was in the right place as it was the only bus with a queue. And the queue stretched a long way... in the rain.
The museum complex is 30km north east of Xian and about a hour away on the bus

The life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses arranged in battle formations are the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. The army, buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC were protect him in his afterlife.
