Kep

The Independence Monument
Destroyed Colonial Villas
The colonial villas are long gone but the properties boundary walls are still standing creating the strangest landscape
Wide dirt roads throughout Kep villiage

The kitchen where our noodle soup was made
We cycled an 8km trail through the national park and Kep Mountain. The bikes were $1 for the day but were worth much less. Dodgy breaks, 21 gears but no means to change gear, a chain that kept jumping and a semi flat tyre. Not the most enjoyable ride. Especially when the chain finally snapped miles from the hostel.
The views were worth the effort though
Especially when we came across the pancake cafe. The view to Kampot is interrupted by the storm rolling in.
