The Mekong Delta

Up at. 5.30 to see the sun rise on the Mekong
We hired a small row boat with guide (who didn't speak English) to explore the Mekong from Can Tho.
He provided breakfast which consisted of the smallest bananas I have ever eaten and a baguette. Luckily there were a lot of bananas and they were delicious

First stop is the bar boat
The floating markets
Genius advertising
A Kikeriki
Washing in the Mekong
There were lots of ferries crossing the Mekong
The school run Mekong style
Our little boat decorated with flowers by our guide
The floating petrol station
Houses on stilts
And the obligatory tourist stop at the rice noodle making factory
