Pushka

Pushka is a small and very touristy, but it kind of gets away with it. If feels very different to everywhere else we have visited in Rajasthan and provides a welcome rest bite from all the historical forts, temples and palaces we seem to be ticking off our efficient tourist list. It is also really nice to feel we are out on the countryside. Away from the hustle and bustle of the crazy, sprawling cities.
For sunset we walk up to the Pap Mochani (Gayatri) Temple. It is incredibly peaceful with only a handful of other tourists who have made the climb. The light over the town is beautiful as we watch the sun slowly dip below the distant mountains.
And every sunset is followed by a sunrise. Twelve hours later at 6am we climb to the eleven higher Saraswati Temple to see the dawn of a new day.
And we also meet some cheeky monkey friends
