Day Six
Mum had perviouly visited Napier with Dad when they were in New Zealand three years ago so she had a few hours to herself while Lynne and I took in a walking tour of Art Deco Napier.
Morning tea for two sisters at Six Sisters
In the afternoon we took a walk up to Te Mata Peak
Day Seven was spent on the long drive back down to Wellington to meet Michael who had been home alone all week. We took a walk out to the Red Rocks to see the few seals that were still about then a quick afternoon tea at the Roxy in Miramar. I was back to work the next day and Mum and Lynne had a couple of days to explore wellington before catching the Interislander across to Picton for their second week on the South Island.
