Day Four & Five
I recomended we visit Wai-o-tapu which is an active geothermal area, having visited previously back in February while on my round the world trip. This meant having to get to the Lady Knox Geyser at 10am for its daily eruption.

Then it was back to Rotorua for some lunch by the lake and a walk around the Government gardens
In the afternoon we headed out to the Redwoods for a short walk which was fueled by ice cream
Day Four was spent on the road to Napier with a very rainy stop in Taupo to see the Huka Falls
