Motorbike School

After a couple of months of sitting on the back of Michael's Motorbike, I decided that I should probably learn to ride myself. Suitably motivated after our two week road trip round the south island, I booked  onto the basic handing course. Equipped with my new (secondhand, new to me) GN125 purchased for $800,  I spent particularly wet and miserable Saturday riding round coned in a car park in downtown wellington. A quick theory test a week later I was armed with my L's.

I have since discovered that I am a fair weather rider and on on days when it is not too windy or rainy I realise I have a pretty good commute. 20 minutes of riding round Evans Bay and Oriental Parade is a very good way to start the day and beats the bus hands down.
