Leipzig - East Germany's second largest city apparently.

I was only in Leipzig for a couple of hours on the way from Dresden to Berlin.
Leipzig' station is less like a station and more like a shopping centre.




Johann Sebastian Bach worked in Leipzig from 1723 to 1750 and his remains are in a grave at Leipzig's Church of St. Thomas.

In 1989 Leipzig played a significant role in instigating the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, protests took place in and around St. Nicholas Church.
